Keuka College honored the academic achievements and leadership of its students during the 2025 Honors Convocation, held Saturday, May 3, in Norton Chapel.
The ceremony recognized students across all academic divisions for their outstanding performance in academics, leadership, service, and professional development. Highlights included divisional awards in Applied Health & Wellness, Business & Management, Education & Psychology, Humanities & Fine Arts, Natural Sciences & Math, and Social Work & Criminal Justice. Dozens of students were also inducted into honor societies, including Pi Theta Epsilon and Lambda Theta Lambda.
The event also celebrated leadership through Student Life awards, including the Way of the Wolf Award, Emerging Leader Award, and the Student Senate Heart Award.
President Amy Storey and Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Heather Maldonado both commended the students for their dedication, excellence, and contributions to the College community.
“As we celebrate the accomplishments of today’s student leaders,” said President Storey, “know that each one of them represents the very best of what Keuka College stands for.”
The ceremony concluded with the cord presentation for members of Sigma Lambda Sigma, Keuka’s honor society for scholarship, leadership, and service. Following tradition, members rang the historic bell on Ball Hall’s fourth floor to commemorate their achievements.
Honors Convocation marks the unofficial home stretch of the College’s academic year, culminating in the Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 17.
